Sad Sewing :(

So my first sewing machine died

yes

DIED!

Cannot be fixed or anything :(

Sad day

It's ok though, I was planning on making the hubs getting me a new one for Christmas ;)

BUT

I have no idea what to get!

I am pretty done with Singer since it died in 6 months

but there are SO many brands out there that I am clueless

Do I get a Brother, Baby Lock, Janome, Bernina....???

The list goes on and on!

I am still a novice so I don't need anything crazy but I want something that will last me a while

Since I know I won't be able to make up my mind

I am thinking about sending Cole with a family friend that is a VERY experienced sewer and let her live vicariously through him :)

But if you have any advice let me know!
